Title: Divine Guidance
Text: Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path
Divine Guidance simply means making God guide you, and intervene in your affairs in life.
It allows you to guide your steps, and to order your doings and has a lot of great benefits.
It’s a great blessing for any Christian who can have such an attitude.
Because life without the divine guidance of God is a risk of life indeed.
My prayer is that you, my readers wherever you are, in every aspect of your life from this day onwards, may you enjoy the divine guidance of God in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
Before I go deeper, according to our text in the book of Proverbs 3:6 in all your ways, He shall direct your path.
How many of your ways? All, so the Bible is not talking about one-fourth of thy way, half of your way but it in all thy ways., And it shall direct your path. So God is good. He is alive, a living God, and is willing to direct your path.
If you will do your part, God is willing to guide you, and lead you if you will allow it.
It is written there, acknowledging Him in all thy ways, doings, career, the goal in life in every aspect of you can acknowledge Him. He is committed to guiding you as it

I have a lot of examples in the Bible, some of the case studies, I want to talk about is the main character called Isaac, the promise of a child of God to Abraham.Isaac became great through Divine Guidance in her journey…It went to a certain stage that He encountered some challenges which as an upcoming famine, one problem to another problem. Isaac almost got misled, because of his situation and the story was taken from the book of Genesis 36:3.The Bible says and God instructed Isaac, Do not move now, stay where I’m going to show, from there, You are going to be so successful to the extent that the entire country, from the President and Everyone in the national honor God, in his life.God can do great and mighty things for you as well. It is the divine guidance that will enthrone your destiny in life.If God wants you to be in a certain city, but you want in a municipality, you may not be able to see the fullness of God’s purpose in your life.You want to be in a certain town but you want to be in the biggest city, you miss the target of God for your life.So you need to understand all these divine guidance of God which is highly demanded in your journey in life. Never forget to acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will guide your path. If you don’t recognize Him and acknowledge Him but just do everything for yourself in your business, or you want to be enrolled in a particular school, if you want to be successful in your field, don’t just choose it by your carnal wisdom alone, acknowledge God, let Him guide your path because of Him, there is joy at the end. Hallelujah!
Think about the book of Psalms 23:4 I will fear no evil,
When we are talking about those people who are enjoying divine guidance, one of those was David, who conquered so many enemies. He has been a man that has never been defeated in his battle.
One of his secrets was, He was always asking for divine guidance from God.
Remember the book of 1st Samuel 23:2-24 David asked God, should I go to the so, so place? Should I pursue the troop? Should I move to that place?
He was always asking God for divine guidance.
2 Samuel 5:3-5 The same thing He asked God again, Should I go to Hebron?
God said, Yes, Go there. People came and crowned him as a king. Another time, He asked again, shall I go again? And God said, Go to that place and miracles continue to explode in his life. The secret behind it is following the divine guidance of God.
When God guides you, the journey shall become easy.
When God guides you, the enemy will be silent.
May you never miss the guidance of God.
As you are reading this, let me quickly tell you some of the things you need to have.
When you need to have divine guidance from God, you may enjoy the favor of God, and enjoy His presence with you as long as you follow.
He will never back you up to where He never sent you.
He will never defend you when you are walking in disobedience. So, it’s very good to embrace God’s guidance so that you can enjoy every step of your life.
Divine Guidance will defend you ( according to the book of Exodus 23: 22 – 23 But if you shall obey his voice and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries, For mine angels shall go before thee,.)
Walking in divine guidance, everyone that will fight you, God will defend you and will give you a favor. It’s very very important. Divine Guidance will open doors for effortless success. Sometimes, you will see the things that just work easily in a good way in which you, yourself will be wondering why?
As long as you walk in the divine guidance of God, He shall be working for you.God will be doing things in your favor. That is one of the greatest chances and benefits of divine guidance.
You need to embrace it. 1st Samuel 30:8 And David inquired, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.David has been challenged and taken away from his possessions and many things including his wife. David didn’t just move and trust in his ability. He didn’t fight, He didn’t say, ‘ I have a weapon, I can just go and do it.’.NO!!! He made a step for divine guidance first, Will I ever give a part? Teach me, Lord.So God revealed to him. Now, You can pursue it and can make it.
David got everything back.
Whatever you might have lost in life which gave you happiness in life before, either in your business, job or in any aspect of your life and ministry, I pray that God will guide you for the steps of restoration in the name of Jesus Christ alone, Amen.
God will guide you and everything the enemy has stolen away from you shall be successfully restored in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Understand that divine guidance will guarantee your victory. Before I finish this article, I will tell you how to obtain divine guidance from God. It’s not something to play with, you need to involve the Creator of the whole universe in your life. If you want him to be involved and committed to your affairs, therefore, understand what it takes and you’re going to take it.
How to obtain the divine guidance of God?
1. Be one of his children.
Divine Guidance is not for those whose father is Satan but only for those who choose God to be their father. Only to His children, the Father will instruct. You need to understand that wherever you are, no. matter what your situation may be, you need to take your time to invite God into your life. You might have been living your life the way you want it. Somehow, things continue to have problems as something is not going on smoothly which is supposed to do. This is the time for you to stop and say, Jesus, at this point, I’ll be your child, Come into my life according to Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God. It doesn’t lead people to those who don’t belong to the father. When you choose to make God, your father then He will lead you, He wants you to enjoy the divine guidance of God, You need to enjoy his success and victory over every harassment of the Devil. Make and choose God as your father.
2. Call for it.
To have divine guidance, remember to call for it. I want you to be in my life, Lord. I want you to guide me and lead my path. The book of Exodus 33:13 Now, therefore I pray thee if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight and consider that this nation is thy people. God, show me your way, if you will not show me the way, I cannot go. Imagine, that the man of God, used to speak with God, mouth to mouth yet He was yearning. God, I will not go until you show me, if You will not guide me, I will not lead these people. So, you need to have such an attitude of asking the guidance of God, not just behave as if you know it all, or you know everything when it is not. As if letting people know that you are yourself. know everything can just be misled and have the wisdom to be wasted. But if you can choose to ask him, God, I don’t understand, Help me, what shall I do? I want to make a step, Is this the right way or is this wrong? Then, God will respond to you through dreams or hearing the voice of God, He puts into your heart then He will send his servant and tell you to guide you whichever way. He has a way of communicating with His children but only those who asked shall receive the revelation, If you’re not going for it, don’t expect it, if you want God to guide you He will make it in order.
3. Fear God – If you want God to guide you, fear Him
According to Psalm 25:12, What man is he that fears the Lord? He shall teach in the way that he shall choose. Not every man or woman, if you don’t fear God, don’t expect Him to lead you but Only those that fear God. Many people want to be God’s guide, they are ready to leave their sins They are not ready to cut from their sins. As long as your sin is on your hands, it will block your ear and heart to see and feel the divine intervention from God. He won’t make you see and feel the direction. But if you want to enjoy His direction and have the fear of God, you hate wickedness and love the fear of God then you will enjoy the divine guidance of God.
4. Humility -Psalm 25;9 Only the meek, He will guide in the way.
If you are arrogant as though you know everything. I know everything, I don’t need anybody to kind to me, and I don’t need any Pastor, you will just fail and fail because you don’t have humility. If you have it, you can say, God, I don’t know, pls show me the way, I don’t know anything about it. No matter what your
situation may be, you might be an Apostle or Bishop, or you might be number one in the congregation, if you have that humility, You can ask God, what is next? I don’t know what to do. Have humility, just have the spirit of humility, and God’s divine guidance shall take place. Be willing to learn.
5. Faith – If you have faith, it pleases God.
God wants to guide you. The way of God is different from the ways of men. If you don’t have faith, you may doubt it. You may not take advantage of it. So in having divine guidance of God, Faith is highly demanded which is very very important. You can even despise it, neglect it. But if you have faith in God you can say ” This is what I am going to do”. Think about Isaac, he was there in the land of the Philistines. The Bible says, there was famine everywhere, and it was very hard for him to plan, take care of his herd, and decide to run away but God said, Nooooo!!. He said This is the place, I am going to bless you. Have genuine faith in God., he doubted and ran away. He doubted And ran away and missed his destiny in life and in the same year God blessed him greatly, waxed great, and became stronger until became exceedingly great. Never lose your faith.
6. Quietness – One of the most important things is.
If you want to enjoy divine guidance, learn to be silent. God is a God who loves people to have an encounter with Him alone. He wants His people to concentrate and learn from Him. Not that just everyone is noisy and Shouting, no divine guidance you will get from there. Look at this example from the life of Prophet Elijah in the book of 1 King 19:12. He was trying to have instructions and guidance from God. The Bible says, there was an earthquake, he saw the earthquake and, everything was shaken. I think God is going to speak now, but God never spoke, and there was a fire coming and I think God is inside the fire, maybe God is going to speak but nothing happened. After that, there was a calmness, everywhere was silent, and there was a certain small voice speaking to Elijah. When you want to have divine guidance from God, don’t love to spend so much noise making. Because most of the time, when you are shouting, laughing, and talking, when you don’t hear God. But sometimes when you create a little time for silence with God, you can be able to hear His divine guidance. Quietness is the time for you to meditate and during that meditation, the information from heaven will be there in your heart. So maintain it at least daily, create a little time of quietness with God and He shall bless you.
7 . Praise and worship God
This must not be allowed to cease in your life. Don’t let praise and worship end if you want to enjoy the divine guidance of God. 2nd Kings 3:15-16 The bible talked about the 3 Kings, they were in the fields of war and got to a certain stage where they lacked water and were so thirsty including their herds. They thought they were going to die, but they were able to run quickly to Prophet Elijah and Agreed to pray to God who created the heaven and the earth. Elisha said something before He will be going to pray and said, Bring me instrumentalists to play worship, they obey and immediately worship God. Suddenly, the Bible says, the presence of God came down and the hands of God came down upon the hill and said, Thus saith the Lord, Do this, and do that, then have the miracles. If you want the divine guidance of God. Love to worship God, to praise Him for He dwells in the praises of his People.
