Title: God has made your day
Text: Psalm 118: 24 This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
God who created you and I has made our day for us to be able to rejoice and be glad in it. He is a good God and a caring Father. He loves you and one of the important works He has done to us is that He has loaded and packaged us with something that will give joy to us. Hallelujah?
You are all aware that in every place, in many situations or circumstances on a daily basis, you can hear different kinds of things that can make someone be confused for the day, a kind of challenge for a certain day.
God doesn’t want you to have a day full of sorrow. It’s not God’s desire that your day will be a day that will give you problems, trials or sadness.
God has designed your days as He has backed it up with blessings.
God is backing up with blessings from heaven with happiness.
So, we need to understand something that’s why the Word of God says, Redeeming the time for there is evil in the day in every day life. Somehow, there are demons in places on a daily basis working and doing their evil works.
We need to comprehend, what God has made for us as we seize it in order for the devil and his demons to be able to take advantage.
Hallelujah.
I believe that somebody got what I am trying to say.
For you to understand this deeper, I would like to show you about five important points, God Almighty has made your day and you are supposed to make your day the same as God has made it.
1. Acknowledge God in your daily living
If you want your day to be exactly what God has made, never leave God behind in your daily plan .Why? Because it has the presence of God to experience fullness of joy every day.
Each day used to carry sorrow, challenge, different kinds of attacks that if you will not recognize the presence of God, the position of God, if you leave behind the presence of God in your day, you may not be able to see the real purpose of your day.
But if you will acknowledge God and make Him number one in your day, surely you will enjoy your day as the Scriptures say that God has made our day and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
So, when God is in your day, joy and gladness shall be your portion.
2. Feed your day with good news.
This is another important thing.
Each has its own evil but you can overcome it if you make a decision as you start, Even before anything, start your day by feeding yourself worship songs,
good news as you wake up in the morning, use your phone or any gadget that can play Christian music, videos that can give you joy.
Don’t be fed by starting your day by watching secular and worldly shows which will cause you to be sad and start remembering your past boyfriend who betrayed and hurt you, who made you cry and made your day to be polluted with loneliness.
You need to be wise and make your day when God makes it.
The way you can do that is feed your day with good things, stay tuned to the kind of message, connect yourself to hear the Word of God especially early in the morning, play it back, listen again, listen to the things in God. They are all there for you to make your day.
But if you make your day with worldly things, you may miss the joy of the Lord.
As you wake up in the morning, starting with hearing the news on the radio, watching TV programs, the news watch is morbid, , talking about death, Saying How many died and Satan will say, who is next in line to be attacked because you don’t make the day the way God made it.
You need to make sure that you will do how God wants you to be according to this message you are reading.
This feeds your day with the good news of God.
Let God’s good news be around you, listen to the things that are of God’s kingdom. They will encourage you, that will make your day to be able to stand against every trial of the day.
Don’t try to start your day with a kind of worldly living.
Listening to the world’s songs, watching TV worldly shows or movies that cannot help life. Be wise as you are a Christian.
3. Position yourself with the right people
Every day, Satan surely looks for a way to pass across his agenda.
Satan usually looks for an agent to pass by his message to the people and that usually happens through the kind of people.
If you choose to be surrounded by those who don’t have a good and great plan. No good words like jargon , bad things and bad things that even weary you, then your day can collapse and the joy of the day can result in sadness.
If you don’t want your day spoiled with darkness of sorrow, problem, associate yourself with the one who has understanding of the things of God’s kingdom.
People who have good testimony, people who will encourage you for the day, not the people who will weary you down and make you lose your direction.
Whosoever you position yourself with will determine how you will enjoy your day.
How sad your day will be if it will be associated with bad people whose mouths are bad as well, which talks evil. The same thing you will just be so sad on a daily basis.
You will be able to enjoy your day that’s why the book of Psalms 1:1 that Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor stand in the way of sinners nor sit in the seats of the mockers..
They are the people who have no goals, no dreams, no visions but their mouth is just to talk against this and that then ruins your day. Don’t associate with such people. If you want to enjoy your day, associate with good people. They may not be too many but they are the people who may understand your dreams, your situations who can speak positive words to you, and who can encourage you to fulfill your purpose in life.
Associate with them and your day will be crowned with the joy of the Lord.. Hallelujah. He has made your day and you are going to make it the same way He has made it. Don’t make your day with the doorway for the enemy to attack. Be aware.
4. Make a decision to maintain joy as your strength.
God has made a day packaged and loaded with happiness.So it is your choice to choose what is going to be. In this message I’d like to tell you that making a decision to maintain joy as you wake up in the morning and say, Today, I want to be happy, This is the day that You have made, Thank You Lord for making me alive, thank You for the joy and no sorrow in my life and make everything work well in my life.
Rejoice!! Make a decision!
Not that you wake up and open your eyes and say I am alive but I’m sad, what a sorrowful day, this is a bad and unfortunate day. Satan will agree and will give you a bunch of turmoil today. Because you have your day in a way that gives you access to the devil. But conclude today, that today, I will praise God, I will rejoice, happiness will be my portion, it doesn’t matter what is going on or what people say around you, what anyone will say,yet, I will praise God, I am happy and ready to enjoy my day. If you can do that and live your day according to what God has made it.If you have such a decision, conclude totally in your mind regardless of what the news the enemy must be passing around, I have made a decision to be happy, rejoicing, I will smile and will never give chance for sorrow.As long as it is your decision , that means you made your day the way God has made it. Don’t forget, the Bible says in Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is your strength. For the target of the enemy is to weary you, attack you and will knock you down on a daily basis.
You wake up in the morning and say, It has happened to many people and many wake up in the morning ,they don’t know the reason why they just got sad. They haven’t talked to anyone, just sadness came without a single reason. I just feel so sad suddenly, ‘ I’m not in the mood, you may say.
You are supposed to understand and perceive that it is an attack of the enemy to attack your day and God doesn’t make it that way or just an attack of the enemy in your mind to make you feel sad and not in the mood and make your day be polluted, you need to reject it.
Maybe you say No, it doesn’t matter, either you saw that in your dreams or saw it physically or just came in your mind, made a conclusion that that nothing will spoil my day.
I’m going to be happy and it is my portion. Today I will rejoice in the Lord.When you do that, it means, you have made your day the way God has made it .Hallelujah!!
5. Make the day of somebody with joy
What do I mean by this,?
If God has made your day, He has given you this understanding of how you are going to make your day the way God has made your day. Be the source of happiness to someone else. Make somebody happy, let someone around you have the joy of the Lord.
Look at somebody, give your smile and say, How are you doing? You look better today, You look so beautiful and blooming today. You are adorable, better than the last time I saw you and the person will smile back, it means , you have made the day of the person with the happiness of God which is very essential to everyone., Not just saying , ‘ As I am looking at you, I’m not just happy , stay away, get out of my sight, get out in this place ‘, you are making your day to be ruined and spoil the day of somebody else. It may be between you and your partner, or you and your children. Just wake up in the morning and greet someone with a smile and say to your wife or daughter, ‘ Wow, this is a great day, I just love the way you look today, never mind if there’s no make up on your face’. Just tell her that she looks more lovely than before and give your smile. You have made someone’s day brighter and your day as well.
If you want your day to be with joy and happiness, as God has made it, try to be the source of happiness to others. Make them happy.Dont try to use your own mind to attack another person.
Let the environment or the habitat be of joy, let the atmosphere be filled with gladness for this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
I declare that happiness will never cease in your life.
Joel 1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth ; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree and the apple tree, even all the trees off the field, are witherd because joy is witherd away from the sons of men.
When the people don’t rejoice, people lose their happiness, the enemy will take advantage and will destroy things.
That will never be your portion in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Make your day the way God has made it.
