Text Jeremiah 33:3 Call upon Me and I will answer thee and I will show thee great and mighty things in which thou knowest not.
Prayer is the means of communicating with God
Being our Creator, whatever we are going to be in this life, accomplish, be in this life, wherever we are going to be , we need divine intervention. The only way to get God committed, make sure that God is committed to your fears in life is through the communication and through prayers.
He said in the book of Jeremiah 33:3 that call upon me and I will answer you.You need to understand something, if you want to pray and want to be answered by God quickly, comprehending some important points which I am going to mention here and be blessed.
When we are talking about prayer and somehow you might have been praying as well. ‘ I’ve been praying for long, I even fasted but nothing happens as if God is not answering. I tell you, no matter what you are going through, our God is a good God, He is able to change your situation that is why He sent me a message to you for you to understand How you pray and touch the heart of God and be able to do wonders in your life. It is possible for someone to pray and may not be able to get an answer, depends on how you understand the principle of praying. By the grace of God, I’m going to tell you some important principles for prayer.
- Give thanks to God
Start your prayers with thanksgiving. The disciples of Jesus Christ asked him and wanted to teach them how to pray.
Jesus Christ said, Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name…He commenced His prayers by giving thanks to God like saying, ‘ God, there is none like You’, that’s what God wants and needs to be in our prayers as a start. When Jesus Christ wanted to raise the death of Lazarus, the Bible says, He says ‘ Father, I thank You for You always hear me.’. After He gave thanks to God, He commanded Lazarus to come out and Lazarus came back to life , raised from the dead . You also can be a commander of miracles through your prayers. If you pray rightly as the Scriptures say, they prayed but they received not the answer because they prayed amidst, contrary to the will and principles of God. Don’t just be moved by your emotions or by the situations around you. They started praying, crying and complaining, you may not see the answer according to Psalm 110:4 – Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and enter His courts with praise and bless His name.
So, when you start your prayers with thanksgiving and praise, heaven shall be opened. - Be sure that your attitude pleases God.
There are so many people praying but somehow God is not ready and willing to do it for them because of their attitudes that never change for the glory of God.
God usually looks at the inward part as He knows what is inside you , You maybe having a grudge to your brother, relative, neighbor, or partner , no matter what maybe you’re praying when you allow sin in your heart, God will not hear your voice in prayer. Be sure that your heart and mind are settled with everyone. You should not have any evil against anyone. But as you are just praying like saying, ‘ Lord, bless me so that I can be proud and I will put my neighbor into shame’ that kind of prayer, God will never answer
You need to pray with a clean. Psalm 15 mentioned, Who will live in the Holy hill? Only those who have clean hands. When you choose to do righteousness, holiness and Godly life as your nature and be your attitude, God shall surely answer you. You will call upon Him and He shall intervene. Many are expecting God’s intervention but could not experience it because of their disobedience. People are given instructions but not ready to follow instructions of God yet they prefer to follow their own will after praying. No amount of prayer you can plead for to God that can break the principle of God or change the wrong thing to be right. You must start first very with a change of attitude then the prayers be answered.If you are praying, think very well. - Pray according to the Word of God.
Scripturally the Word is settled in heaven and the angels of God hearken to the Voice of God. So when you are praying, make sure that your prayers carry the effect of the Word of God, inject the Word of God out into your prayers. Don’t just pray without adding the Word of God.
When Jesus Christ was there at the mountain praying, Satan tempted Him.
But Jesus Christ defeated Satan by applying the principles of declaring ‘ It is written, it is written ‘.When the Word of God is included, God will be committed to do your declaration in prayers..
Give time to study the Word of God and understand what His promises are for you. As It is written, when you say, ‘ I cannot be barren, I can be fruitful, It has been written, My God shall supply all my needs according to His richest in glory. It is written, I shall not die but live to proclaim the Gospel’. When you put the Word of God into your prayers, the devil will surrender and the angels of God will perform with action on your behalf as you will be seeing God is working greatly. For God’s Word is powerful, sharp and quicker than the two edged sword. It can move very fast regardless of what the problem of the person is encountering. He sent His Word and His Word heals. That’s what the Bible says.
It is very, very important. - Pray by faith. Faith is the gateway to give access to the throne of God for quick response. No matter how prayerful you are, no matter how you understand the principle of praying if you lack faith, you will not see the answer . That’s why, the Bible says, whosoever believes, there is nothing impossible. Hebrews 11: 6, He says, He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. He said, He is a rewarder of everything to everyone that will commit to Him.But without faith, you cannot please God. So, you need faith for God to answer you. You pray, believe and it is done. Even when there is no sign, even if you are facing a hard time, even if you are fasting, Satan may have to test you, tempt you, to bring some things, be some trials to tell you that your prayers are not going to be answered. But every time you pray and say that there are some signs or challenges that manifest, they are all signals that your prayer is about to bring some manifestations . It’s just that your faith and belief are being tested but after the test, don’t quit but believe that what you have been asking for is about to fulfill and it shall be your testimony soon. For without faith, no one can please God.
- Being sensitive to the leading will of God. I will show you great and mighty things and give you the answer to your prayers. How will God answer you? God will answer you by giving you a revelation and direction. A kind of vision that will lead you the way, steps to take to get the answers to what you have been asking for. There are so many people praying, when they pray, they never wait but so much in a hurry. No! After you pray, be sensitive to the Spirit of God, listen to Him, get yourself ready to receive the light from Him. By the one revelation is enough to deliver all the answers to all your prayers today. So when you pray, listen to Him, watch and one revelation from God is enough to change everything. God is a good God, He is hearing you, able to answer you some revelation. Don’t be in a hurry,. Wait for him, He will give you guidance and surely have a testimony.. Above all, after you have done it all.
- Keep praising God. Even if you don’t see signs, give thanks to God. Like saying, those children will become good children, I give you praise oh Lord, for that I requested from you, it is done already, I thank You Lord for that marriage is settled, for my business is progressing and my ministry is breaking through. Give Him All the Glory. Keep glorifying His Name and you will see the quick response of God. You will never regret that He is alive forever.
