Title: Confidence,Your Gateway to Your Miracle
Text: Philippians 1:6 Being confident in this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
By being very confident on this, that He, our God who has started a good thing in you shall perform it until the day of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now, be serious in reading this somebody, our God is a Faithful God. Despite the fact that His integrity is sure, we , human beings need to understand the principle of God. What it takes to get Him committed to fulfill which He has promised.
I’d like to tell you that wherever you are, no matter what your situation is, God will never forget you. But there is something very, very important for every human being who wants to see God on their side, that is having confidence in God. Not just having confidence in oneself, in one’s talent, or in the people and the connections you have. Human convictions can disappoint you, your talents can fail you somehow your money can fail you or someone you trust can disappoint you. That’s why this passage here is saying, Be Confident of this, that God who has started the good thing in you, He shall surely fulfill.
I don’t know what God might have promised you. What are those good things He has started in you? Probably, because of the trials and challenges along the way, you have the feeling that, ‘ Can I be successful about this? ‘Am I going to continue? ‘Am I not going to give up? Now, I want to tell you. Confidence in God can help you through. Because in following God, in believing in God, expecting from God, only those who have confidence in Him can get the reward of Him. Why? Because as we follow Him, as we make a decision for Him, somehow, the Devil is there along the way to make you afraid, to make doubt God, to make the trials, to make you feel as if no God is on your side. As if your prayers are not answered, as if the ability of your Pastor is enough but if you can have confidence, there is a Sure Reward for you.
According to Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence which has great recompense of reward. It has great rewards, great recompense. It will compensate you someday for your confidence in Him. Now, if you don’t have confidence in God, the Devil will take advantage of the things you have seen.
He will make you experience challenges, tests, and trials
The only way you can be victorious in the time of challenge is Your Confidence in God. Even when the doctor says no more solutions but you shall say, I have a Living God who will help me through and He will heal me. Even though I don’t have enough money for myself, I have confidence that my tomorrow shall be alright..
But if you lose your confidence in Him, the devil will take advantage The Devil will tell you, there’s no tomorrow for you, that you will lose everything , better kill yourself now. That will never be your portion in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
One of the things that can easily kick off the embarrassment of the Devil is your confidence in God. It can easily put Satan into shame. Now , think about this. In the book Daniel 3:17 , it talks about the three Hebrew guys, in a strange land as they were foreigners there and captives , no authority to defend themselves but only to trust in God which is the best way for them.
The King Nebuchadnezzar decided to kill them because of their refusal to worship their god. The King made a law to increase the fire seven times hotter than before. No way for them to escape before they were thrown in the fiery furnace. One of them said, ” Our God, whom we serve is able to deliver us ‘ . That’s great confidence in God. They made a decision, ‘ King Nebuchadnezzar, we don’t care about how many times you’ll increase the fire, what we are aware of is, we have a God, our God who has the power over everything’.
You need also to take such confidence. You need to settle in your mind ,in your heart that , my God whom I am serving will make a way for me.’ When there is any news around you, everyone talks around you ready to make a jest on you, mock and tell you that you’ re about to be put into shame, you are going to regret’. Remember, your confidence can make you a Victorious person. Have confidence in Him. God has started a good thing in you. Even along the way, when it seems so hard, it might be about your education, your marriage, your children, to about the kind of people who reject you along the way. You feel alone, it seems as if you have been abandoned, Have confidence in Him. He is with you. You may see Him,. physically but God is with you. He will not allow that sickness to kill you. He won’t allow those demons to conquer you. You are more than conquerors. If you can build your confidence in Him, you have a great reward..
There is no way that you can get a reward without experiencing the devil that may be roaring like a lion moving around. Is it a Lion? No, it’s not a Lion. Jesus Christ is the Lion in the tribe of Judah is in you. He’s the one who you need to embrace. Have confidence in Him and every devil will be silent. Just believe in God. Though the manifestation of God’s wonders may take time. It may seem nothing even if you’re praying, you might be totally forsaken , knocked down, never lose your confidence, never ever lose your trust in Him.
Those Hebrew guys said, ‘ We believe that our God, whom we are serving is able to rescue us. ‘ The Bible says, even the people who threw them by the fiery furnace were burned themselves by the heat of the fire. But these three Hebrew lads as they were entered there, God was already there inside waiting for them to deliver them. Immediately they demonstrated their confidence in Him. Our God Himself whom we are serving shall deliver us”. God surely said, I’m going to to this world this time around, I’m going inside the fiery furnace to rescue them because of their confidence in me. I’ll be there ahead of them”. In all those journey of life, when the be road seems so tough, when the way seems so hard, God is ahead, He’s preparing the way. You may not see Him physically but He is a Faithful God, have confidence in Him.
He won’t leave you. He won’t allow that problem to swallow you. He will make a way for you. And do you know what God did inside the fiery furnace? Before they landed in the fire, God possibly made the fire into an air-conditioned oven. They enjoyed the time, dancing, rejoicing and not only the three of them. Jesus Christ Himself was dancing with them and the King was shocked. They put only three Hebrew guys, how come they became four? The King said , the fourth man looks like the son of the Living God. That’s the first king in the Bible who discovered Jesus Christ. Jesus has never failed and He can never fail. Have confidence in Him. If you haven’t welcomed Him in your life, if you have some doubts in your life, or maybe you think you are going to perish, things have failed, maybe you end up in a problem and live sorrowfully forever, there is a solution for you. Just have confidence in Him. Welcome Him in your life, trust Him all the days of your life and you’ll end up successfully in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
You will enjoy the reward of having confidence in Him. Don’t lose your confidence. Because of that problem, you ran to the Wizards, witch or quack doctor, who will just mislead you and lead you to the devil, don’t try to look for the shortcut that will destroy your journey. Have confidence in God who has started it in you shall surely end it. No matter what the situation is, I just want to tell you, the vision that God has shown you in the beginning is not a lie, it will surely come to pass. The prophecy you received, it will surely come to pass. That which God has spoken to you shall surely come to pass. Have confidence in Him, God bless you.
