Title: The Success Habits
Text: Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou sh
alt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
The habit of successful people must have the kind of character that will give them success in life.
God is a God of success in life.
God gives instructions to His servant called Joshua who took the mandate after Prophet Moses on how to be successful in his calling and journey in life and ministry.
The same with God, loves to reveal to each and everyone of us what to do and how to be successful.
Let me tell you quickly what Success is.
Success simply means the accomplishment of the real purpose of your living.
Success is fulfilling the purpose of God’s calling for your life.
God’s purpose of your being existent of this world.
God has a plan and purpose for everybody.
It doesn’t matter how you sat and moved together with your friends and colleagues, God has a certain purpose upon each and everyone of us, differs to one another.
It’s a dangerous thing to come into this world and return back to God without fulfilling the real purpose of being existent in this world.
Every human being has a certain intention and reason why God has made you who you are and how you are to fulfill it which is very essential.
After the departure of the Man of God called Moses, Joshua was challenged by God and told him that ” I will teach you how you can be prosperous and be successful.
God is not the author of failure for it’s not His will for you to be a failure in life in the ministry and in every destiny.
This is why this message the Habit of Success is very important for us to study .In the Bible, we have so many successful people and I observed in the life of everyone as I study, I discovered some common habits or attitudes of them which led them to their success.
Every successful person has a certain secret behind their success though you may not know as you look at them, you just might say, I loved the way you succeeded.
But if you moved closer to them and have the opportunity to listen to their story, it’s not a bread and butter life, it’s a kind of journey that is full of different things which are not good to be considered when in fact that they went through a lot of failures before they become successful.
Most successful people were a great failure before as they moved from failure to failure, they didn’t quit till they succeeded..
You may be reading this article and thinking that this is not for you because you are somehow a failure as everyone knows you are and not qualified for this message. You are next in line and deserve the coming success that God wants to manifest in you. Don’t be trapped by your failure , by your situation ,or by what people see and think about you. To be a successful person is very possible to pass through some undesirable challenges and frustrations but never be tired of failing because if you’re not weary of trying, success in the end shall take place.
People who are scared to be disappointed can never succeed.
If you want to be successful in your marriage, education, business one way or the other in some aspects of your life as if you are not, it’s not the end of you, you still can be successful.
The most and greatest important success of all success is the one who successfully passed in this world and entered God’s kingdom successfully.
Regardless of what attainment of success in the level of being famous like an artist or a celebrity, if you don’t have Jesus Christ and His kingdom, you’re still a loser. Even if you’re an adorable popular athlete, it is limited as it is only for this temporal world. Don’t misqoute me, what I’m trying to emphasize here is that Success is all about working with God in heaven where we are going.
What I mean is, when you are successful in this world but not in entering God’s kingdom,it’s automatically a total failure. For you to be successful citizens of heaven is to have Jesus Christ in your life.It is a must need in everyone’s life.
If you have received Jesus Christ in your life, congratulations for the highest pathway to success in Eternal Life is to have Jesus Christ. You will not be condemned and you are not condemned because Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Success is one of the treasures packaged of redemption.
God loves and values Success as He doesn’t design people for failure even though you underwent different kinds of disappointments either by the inflict of the Devil.
The demons of Satan have seen how great your destiny will be as they are fighting against it or maybe your time has not yet arrived.
Whichever way, the will of God the Father in heaven is for you to be successful as I declare right now in your business, career, job, destiny and to every aspect of your life, God will make you successful in the name of Jesus Christ and our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Receive the grace in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
In the Christian journey of ministry, people who are to be successful tomorrow have been passing through failures, disappointments and frustrations but let me tell you,, it’s not yet the end.
And here’s the things you need to know and understand about the Habits of Successful and Unsuccessful people.
1. Unsuccessful people are Lazy – They don’t value diligence. They just want to setback and relax. Thinking about what they can’t do.
Joshua was told by God that he will be the next leader after Moses and it has to be a daily task.
Moving from one place of battle to another fight. Joshua was a diligent leader so must we.
Unsuccessful people love to Complain a lot.- No matter what you do for them, whether they are comfortable or not, they will still be heard complaining.
They are not appreciative.
They can’t even say , everything is getting better or it is well.They are fond of grumbling and disputing.
Reject that attitude of complaining, murmuring and grumbling.
2. Unsuccessful people are fault-finder – They are the kind of always looking for who is to be blamed
Their expertise is to find the faults of others and point fingers whom they wanted to blame.
Like saying, This is why I am having a problem because of my parents .
Nobody cares for me , I have no one to count on because of this and that.
Always looking for someone to blame and to be blamed for the results of being stagnant and unsuccessful.
Everyone God created has something that has been packaged with them to stand alone yet along the way, the one He raised for them as destiny helper in their journey has been prepared long before.
For you, you need to stand alone first as a pre-requisite in the journey and don’t ever blame anybody about your situation for God never makes mistakes even if someone has betrayed you, or wronged you as long as you don’t complain why they do such things to you, you can easily think wisely and move forward. Hallelujah Jesus.
4. Unsuccessful people believe that they know everything.
One of the dangerous attitudes. Arrogantly, they cannot embrace others’ teachings for they believe that they already know what you are reminding them even if it’s through the Word of God.
Eventually, they won’t listen to you as they think of themselves as wiser than the others.
Let us now move to other important things to understand about being Successful people.
5. Successful people are God’s Word – keepers.
They will end well with God’s Kingdom. Joshua was told by God that this book of the law shall not depart from you.
Keep it, let it be in your heart. Meditate it day and night.
As you are reading this right now, keep this Word of God.
Don’t let any devil take it away from you, instead, value it. Remember and take note of it as it helps you now and in your future.

They are obsessed and generous in praising the Lord. Whatever they have and achieve are not by their own power. When they fail or succeed, they always give thanks to God. In every circumstance they encounter, they give back all the praises to God. That’s the habit of successful people in the kingdom of God.
Even if you are knocking on the door and nobody cares to open it, dont be upset but give praise to God.
For such a behavior,
It shall lead you to the pathway of success. - Successful people love to learn more.
They love to know more new things. It’s a secret behind every success.
Learn and know more just like craving to know more about how to be successful in your life’s journey.
And God shall reveal a greater way. - Successful people love focus .
When you’re on your journey to success, the devil will do everything to distract you.
Make sure to focus , otherwise you’ll never be there to your success.
There are so many things along the way like troubles, trials, remorse, needs, debts, affliction, or infirmities.
I remember a Black American Christian movie producer , a great man of God named Taylor.
He started to produce movies, concerts, Shows or anything he likes to present to the masses.All he produced failed and lost his money.
He tried many ways to the extent that his own mother got mad at him because of his goal but he didn’t stop.
Now, he is a great popular producer in Hollywood that no artists don’t know.
He failed so much but he became successful because he didn’t stop but continued his focus on what he has started and didn’t mind the critics or distractions around him.
You can be successful as well, just never allow the devil to distract you , stand right,and be courageous.
All demons are like dogs who want to bite you along the way to your success.
You are maybe crying now but soon you shall laugh again.
You may be sad now but people shall celebrate God with your success tomorrow..
To have focus is an attitude of a successful person
You may start your ministry for a while but struggle arises and running away from it causes you to say that you can’t do it.There ,you will lose your great tomorrow.
You may not have received your salary for the end’s meet. Just focus for you have a great destiny. - Success people are inspirational.
They love to inspire somebody.
Any success you have but you cannot raise another it is not considered as a successful person.
You should have someone to inspire of
I remember one of our cute dancers in our ministry, who dances gracefully, whose name is Jacy,
When they asked her, who showed her the way but she answered by mentioning the name of Jerlyn, one of our choreographers in the dancing ministry.
Despite the fact that the answer seems contrary to what we expect from her. Just because she’s still young then but she spoke from her mind, it is considered as Success.
If you want to be successful in your field, impart to others what made you succeed or inspire somebody.
Be an inspiration, a blessing to other people then your success shall manifest and manifest and manifest.
Even though , along the way while trying to inspire somebody, trials may be like disappointing you when helping them but just get a reward of evil response.
Don’t worry, God has somebody to replace and use to reward you and you will never miss your success in life in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. - Successful people have tenacity
Success doesn’t usually happen in the beginning but towards the end. When you feel that you are so weary and almost giving up, then you will see success manifest
A man from America who failed to be a city Councillor for nobody votes for him. He decided to run for Mayor yet failed, then ran again but for the higher position of Senator , as expected, he failed again.
He was mocked and became a laughing stock of his co- politicians and opponents for obvious reasons that he ran again for the highest position like Presidential candidacy.
He received much reproach from the electoral commission for his tenacity. He didn’t win for the lower position how much more for the highest position in politics, they criticized.
But to their amazement of all, He won as the President of the country.
What God has destined you to be shall surely come to pass and never go unfulfilled.
Only have the spirit of purposefulness or the strength of will.
Strong determination is a tenacity of a successful person.
When people reject you, keep moving.
As you continue to move and deter, you shall be successful to the end.
Joshua kept moving even though it was not easy and got into a certain stage of the battle he faced like the Wall of Jericho, the Giants along the way, The Jordan River and many more challenging situations.
But He never quit instead He was tenaciously pursuant to the Promised Land while leading the way of the Israelites. See Success shall soon be on your Way.
Never allow the enjoyment of this world to distract you from your race to heaven.
Remember that your greatest success is your end which is to enter God’s kingdom.
If your success will take you away from God to this world, like having a good job but no time for going to church or no more time to serve God due to your job which is the demon of your way, better quit the job and be poor and enter the kingdom of God.
Let God make you in His very own way and take you to heaven rather than be once in a worldly way and go to hell.
Don’t value anything that will distract you
That’s the most important success you need.
