The Holy Spirit
1John 5:7 says, “There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost. These three are one.”
Hallelujah!
The Christian life is incomplete without the Holy Spirit. As a matter of fact, everything that is created in the world, and in the whole universe, in heaven and earth is by (the help of) the Holy Spirit.
By the grace of God, I’ll be explaining gradually and deeply as you read on. I want to tell you I feel so blessed with this message of God. I believe God will bless you, too. This timely message is very important in the lives of God’s people in particular and the Christiandom in general.
I want to talk about my Boss, my Master, my Creator, Who also happens to be your Creator, the One, the Host of heaven and earth. When the Bible says the three that bear witness in heaven; the Word, the Father and the Holy Ghost, all of them are one.
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. When You observe in the Bible, before God created everything, He was talking and saying, “Come, let us create a human being in our own image.” I’m sure, you are familiar with the account of Creation and have read that in the Bible. Whom is He talking to? That is the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ and the Father reasoning together, agreeing together to beautifully and gloriously make you and me as image of them.
When we talk about the Holy Spirit, I believe that many of us Christians will be curious to know more about this third person in the Trinity and what He does. Many of us have read topics on and heard about the Father in heaven. Many of us have also heard so much about Jesus Christ Our Lord.
I believe God has led me today to come and reveal to you more about Himself. I believe that as I am sharing this message with you, you will be able to receive the blessings and the benefits of knowing this third person of the Trinity (and that your life will never be the same again in the precious name of Jesus!).
Now, if you observed in the Creation, from the beginning, in Genesis 1:2, “And the earth was without form and void.” God created this world which was from the start empty, without good shape, void of beautiful things and above all, covered with darkness. Darkness was upon the face of the deep. “Covered with darkness” significantly symbolizes the devil, (from the beginning of the world) has come to manifest himself to oppose and to stand against every good thing that God wants to do on earth. It being covered with darkness, we can thank God for what ensued – “the Spirit of God moved upon the surface of the water”.
God’s move turned this world from void to beautiful and glorious. The power of darkness lost its position after the movement of the Holy Spirit. Take note, in everything that God converted and before He converts anything, the first that takes place is the manifestation of the move of the Holy Spirit . It was after the manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s movement that God was able to say, “Let there be light”, and there was light.
There was no conversion (darkness to light) before the manifestation of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit, I’m talking about is very important in the lives of human beings. The Spirit is also significant in the realm of God’s Kingdom. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Who came into this world, revealed so much about the Holy Spirit to us. He declared it vividly to everyone in the early church, that there is no way the church can fulfill that which the Father is going to do until the promised Spirit of God has come. Which brings us back to the reality that the Holy Spirit is important to the human beings, the church, the Christians.
The Holy Spirit is a person. He can understand. He can hear and speak. He can smell and perceive. The Holy Spirit can teach and make you to remember. He can do a lot of things.
Christians can enjoy the flow of the doings of God, if they understand the great advantage of having the precious Being of Heaven Who is the important Third Person of the Trinity.
The Holy Spirit makes the difference between the living church and the dead church. One can be in a congregation where the Holy Spirit is not recognized and he can hardly see any movement of God. Everything is silent.
When you have been to a place where the Holy Spirit is welcome, you can feel the presence of God and the proof of the reality of the existence of God Almighty.
Without the Holy Spirit, there’s no way the church can be a living church. The Holy Spirit is the life of the church of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is the very source of life of Christianity. That is the difference between Christianity and other religions.
This world was empty, full of darkness, there was nothing in it to be desired until the arrival of the Holy Spirit. The Bible said that after the Spirit started moving upon the surface of the water, manifestation commenced.
God wants to do something in your life. He wants to manifest His glory to your life. God is up to surprising you! You need to embrace the flow and the movement of the Holy Spirit in order to have the fullness of what Christ has prepared for you. You may think you have enjoyed Christ enough, you have just started. There is more to His glory than meets the eye, the deep(er) treasures about Him which only the Holy Spirit can give access to.
That’s why Jesus helped us understand that it is important for the Father’s promise which is the Holy Spirit, to come upon us. When we receive the Holy Spirit, He will start flowing in our lives, then we can access more of the great things God has planned for us.
In other words, the so-called Christianity without the Holy Spirit is just an empty religious activity. It is no different from other religions or groups who reject the Spirit of God.
God is spirit. And those who worship Him, must worship Him in truth and in spirit. The Bible emphasizes how important He is. There’s no way you can worship God without the Holy Spirit. If you say, you are worshipping God and you don’t have the Holy Spirit (meaning you do not acknowledge Him or you don’t embrace His presence), then your worship is not complete.
I would like you to understand that we need the Holy Spirit in our lives, in our daily living, in our worship and in every area of our lives from here to eternity. Only those who embrace the Holy Spirit have the fullness of the presence of God with them. (You won’t miss it in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.)
A great deal of advantages can be enjoyed by Christians through the Holy Spirit. He will surely be at work, by His grace as we tackle the many benefits of having Him. Let’s scrutinize them one by one with His guidance.
1.The Holy Spirit is a Giver of Life. Saint John 6:63 says, “It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” That’s our Lord Jesus talking here. It is the Spirit of God that gives life. The Word of God you are hearing breathes life when it is filled by and with the Spirit. The flesh cannot do it. In other versions, the flesh “doesn’t help at all”, or “conveys no benefit”, particularly on the area of providing (eternal) life. But when the word is based on the Spirit, a person will enjoy the flow of the presence of God, and will catch the revelation from the Word of God.
That is how the Spirit operates as the Giver of Life. If you want the life that is in Christ Jesus and enjoy it, love the Holy Spirit.
For your ministry to thrive in God, for the life of God to flow in your home, in your marriage and in the life of your children, allow the quickening of the Holy Spirit.
2.The Holy Spirit is a Comforter.
We have heard of this name often enough and in the preaching before. That is one of the popular names of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. According to our Lord Jesus in John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Based on the Word, He is the One Who comforts us. Life in this world is never without challenges and trials. But with the Holy Spirit in your life journey, you can elicit or draw comfort from the Father. The devil may frustrate you with pains of all sorts, challenges of all kinds, but remembering the Holy Spirit on your side, His comfort will manifest, you will be taught guidance and will be given knowledge what to do next. We are not alone. That’s how important His working presence is in our life. Hallelujah!
3.The Holy Spirit is the Healer.
Whenever you hear about healing miracle taking place, it is all by the unction (anointing) of the Holy Spirit. When the woman with issue of blood came and touched the garment of Jesus Christ, something happened. Jesus observed and perceived the unction moved out of Him. It is called the unction of the Holy Spirit.
When you read the Book of Romans 8:11-15, it partly says, “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead…”. What made Jesus rise on the third day is…the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is the secret behind it. Now, when that same Spirit come upon you, He shall quicken your mortal body which means the Spirit will service your body and make you receive the flow of the life emanating from God’s throne.
If you’re experiencing sickness now, your body feels weak and you have become weary, the moment you embrace the Spirit of God, He will take care of the physical burden. The flow of His miracle follows. One of the Holy Spirit’s ministries is healing. He is a great healer.
Every healing miracle that had been wrought by our Lord Jesus Christ was empowered by the Holy Spirit. Every work of wonder, every miracle of healing you have heard of in Christianity all over the world, the deep secret behind it is the Holy Spirit.
By the grace of God, I’ve been ministering to several countries where a great deal of people were blessed and got healed. These amazing wonders truthfully were not all my doing, they took place completely by the ability of the Holy Spirit. That same Holy Spirit Who is alive, is able to heal and do wonders in your life.
(You won’t miss these wonders in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!)
Always recognize the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. Understand that God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, they are one as the Bible says. I want you to understand more deeply as you read on and follow through. Listen to the next.
4.The Holy Spirit is the Teacher.
He’s the One who will favorably guide you and give you revelations. Your colleagues may not understand as they watch you excelling more than they. Do you remember, when God promoted a man called Joseph in the Bible, certain words came out from the mouth of the Pharaoh himself and his words were,”In as much we cannot find a man, who has the Spirit of God like you.” Imagine? The pharaoh is an unbeliever, yet he could receive and discern that in Joseph’s was not just an ordinary spirit (way different from the ordinary magicians of their country) but “it is the Spirit of God” as the Pharaoh called it.
He is a spirit of guidance, He can teach you and can make you excel.
In the Book of Daniel 6:3, it says, “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him and the King thought to set him over the whole realm.” When the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, you will favorably excel.
The Holy Spirit is a great teacher as 1John 1:20 says, “But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.” He teaches you and me.
In Luke 12:12, it says, “For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.” He is really a great teacher. Many of us face challenges encountering some people acting like Pharisees who want to catch you by the tale, oppress you and nail you to the cross. In that moment, you will wonder what you’re going to say. What would be your answer to them? In a time like this, don’t worry. When the guiding Spirit IS in you, He will teach you and give you the right words to utter at the right time, in order to defeat every enemy’s plan. Hallelujah!
I’m mentioning all these, so that you can understand that the Holy Spirit is indispensable in this school of life.
5.The Holy Spirit is the Situation Changer.
Many of us in our Christian journey, we find ourselves entangled in situations that we are not so happy about. There are circumstances that cause us to be sad, especially not seeing results of our expectations. We want a kind of living better than what is now. When we long for a change, we need the Holy Spirit. Where the Holy Spirit is, there’s going to be a change. This is true in Isaiah 32:15 where it says, “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, its fruitful field be counted for a forest.” Then the wilderness becomes a fruitful land. It is no longer wilderness for it has already changed. Where there was trouble before, where there was no success, everything could change and be fruitful. There will be success and a testimony because a great forest blossomed into a fruitful land.
In the same manner, you’ll start to experience miracles and wonders. They, your audience, will be there and be surprised, because the Holy Spirit has released the manifestation of the good things for you. Receive the metamorphosis, the shifting of gears for the best, in the name of Jesus!
6.The Holy Spirit is a Defender.
His other ministerial work is one of defense. He is the One Who can defend you.
We are all aware that our world is a battlefield. There are challenges everywhere. There’s no place in this world you run into and find no devil. Enemies are lurking all over the world. The demons and their co-horts have junctions (or areas of responsibility) in different countries, but Satan is all over the place where he is recognized. The only way for you to overcome attacks of the devil is you need to acknowledge the Holy Spirit as your defender. When you are sleeping and do not know anything, the enemies move around to do evil. This is where the Holy Spirit does the fighting for you. According to the Bible, in Isaiah 59:19, “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
With the adversary trying to destroy you, frustrate you and do evil against the purpose of God in your life, how can you fight against them?
There are so many ways and one is in verse 19, “the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against them”. Acknowledge the Spirit of the Lord Who will fight for you and defend you. Even when you don’t know what to do, the Holy Spirit will wrestle for you in the spirit realm. Oh, what a good Spirit of God! Hallelujah!
7.The Holy Spirit is also The Spirit of Intercession.
He intercedes for us, praying for us. The Book of Romans 8:26, confirms this stating, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” He is the Spirit that can intercede for you, even when you don’t know how, even when you just pray a little and don’t even see what is going on in the spiritual dimension.
He helps in our infirmities means the Holy Spirit upholds us when we are weak. He will pray for you with his great ability. He is so great that He intercedes for the people of God. What a great news and a blessing to have the Holy Spirit in our life. Hallelujah! Glory, glory be to Jesus!
8.The Holy Spirit is the Deliverer.
The Holy Spirit delivers people from the works of the devil. The Christiandom has been punctuated with works of deliverance, people are set free and get liberated. All these are ministrations by the Spirit of the living Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit. Someone who has been a drunkard and a smoker for a long time, who drifted with the lust of this world and appeared hopeless, when the Holy Spirit intervened, he miraculously broke free. The Holy Spirit has the power to break every chain of the devil. He is seriously a great deliverer!
I remember one of the stories in the Bible about a man called Samson. The Bible says, “They bound him with rope on his legs and hands.” And then they called him, “Samson, your enemy has come to kill you.” Immediately when the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, the rope and the chains of bondage were all broken. So, our liberation is by the Holy Spirit. Anyone who wants to be free from the harassment of the devil, need to embrace the liberating Holy Spirit of God.
In 2Corinthians 3:17, it says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” You may belong to a religion and have never seen any deliverance taking place in the people there who are seriously in the bondage of the devil, this is the time the Holy Spirit must manifest, to remove and destroy the chain. Wherever the Holy Spirit is, deliverance happens.
Declaration: As I am speaking to you right now, wherever you are. I declare the flow of the Holy Spirit to you, I declare your liberation in the name of Jesus. I declare by the power of the Holy Spirit, every chain of the devil be destroyed.
That’s why the Bible says, “The anointing shall destroy the yoke.” Anointing of who? Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no anointing. That is how powerful the presence of the Holy Spirit is.
9.The Holy Spirit is the Unction for the Fulfilment of your Destiny.
This Holy Spirit is the unction that can help you and enthrone you in your own palace. There are some things that God has destined that only you can accomplish on earth, no one else. It is your own package from heaven and you yourself must fulfill it in this world. To fulfill it is impossible without the unction of the Holy Spirit.
So, Holy Spirit has a crucial and important role in fulfilling God’s purpose. Value the Spirit of God, love the Holy Spirit we are talking about and then you will enjoy the reality of your destiny. Realize that you have a great tomorrow and a colorful destiny. You are born to be great on earth and it can only be with the help of the Spirit.
Don’t forget that I have said it, even till eternity. The Spirit will be there to help us in rapture time, when Jesus will arrive. Christians’ rapture is our heavenly flight. Anyone without the Holy Spirit will miss the flight to heaven. The Bible which calls Him the “Spirit that quickened Jesus to rise from the dead”, is that same spirit Who is with you, “when the trumpet sounds, will enable you to hear and be caught up in the firmament”
Declaration: You and I will never miss this audible trumpet for the flight in the precious name of Jesus. No one of us will miss the kingdom. Thank you, Father.
The Holy Spirit I’m talking about has gifts and fruits. The Holy Spirit has different gifts. One of them is making me do what I’m doing right now. I am teaching you the Word of God, it is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. When you find yourself speaking, it’s a gift of the Holy Spirit. You are praying and prophesying; miracle taking place, wonders happening, they are gifts of the Holy Spirit. Remember though that when you have the gifts of the Holy Spirit but don’t have the fruits of the Holy Spirit, think again. There are many people who are after the gifts but do not value the fruits which are equally important. May I say very much important because, remember Apostle Paul (in 1Cor 13:4) said, “Even if I can speak in tongues speaking the language of angels, if I can have every faith to move the mountains, or of doing whatever, if I don’t have love or charity, I don’t have anything.” Love is the truth of the Holy Spirit. When we are talking about it, you can read from your Bible (in the book of ) 1Corinthians 12:1-10, you can find the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and when you move to Galatians 5:22-23, you can see there the fruits of the Holy Spirit. You can see some good Christian attitude manifest, something in your life that leave people wondering,“Is this the same person I have known before?”
Even you yourself notice and can say, “Oh, I remember, I used to be like this and now, I’m a different person. I used to be a bad person, everybody knew in our street, in our community but now, I’m changed.” The inspiration behind it is the fruit of the Spirit. (May you never miss the fruits of the spirit, in the precious name of Jesus, amen.)
Now, how do we enjoy the advantages of having the Holy Spirit? How do we access these benefits that are available in the Spirit of God? If you want to enjoy the flow of the Spirit of God, if you want to see Him always in action, let me share with you five ways (according to my experience, in my walk with Him. Hallelujah! I believe you will have a reason to rejoice!)
You Must live a Holy Life. Choose to live a holy life. According to 1Peter 1:16, “Because it is written, be ye Holy; for I am Holy.”
God is a holy God, and we never heard it say bad spirit, but holy Spirit. In your life, if the Holy Spirit is involved, you have to live holy.
It didn’t say dirty spirit either, so you have to live holy, free from dirt.
You must prefer to live holy, to enjoy a kind of habitat of holiness to allow the flow of the Spirit of God. People who live sinfully cannot enjoy the flow of the Holy Spirit. It’s way conflicting, that’s why the Bible talks about the flesh and the spirit. Flesh fights against the Spirit, Spirit fights against the flesh. If you want to enjoy the Holy Spirit, you have to choose the Spirit. And when you choose holiness, you will enjoy the flow and always see Him beside you. The Holy Spirit will make you feel the fear of God and will put the fear of God in you. Holy Spirit will inspire you to live a godly life, so you need to embrace His working. That is what the Book of Psalm 45 is all about. “Because you choose holiness and righteousness and you hate wickedness.” He said God has anointed you higher than your fellow. The Holy Spirit is the one that will anoint you for your fulfillment in life – you reigning as a king or as a queen in the kingdom manifesting the glory of God on earth. It was when Samuel anointed the head of David (1Samuel 16:13), the Holy Spirit came upon him and since then, he was able to conquer Goliath and others. It’s not about your stature, how handsome you are, how intellectual you are, but it’s all about how you embrace the idea of living a holy life. If you choose to live a holy life, the Holy Spirit should be your best buddy. Hallelujah! Amen.
Allow Him to Dwell in You. That’s a tall order. John 14:17 says, “Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” Human being living in this planet has a certain spirit living in them. Whether you are a Christian or otherwise (belonging to a religious sect), there is a certain spirit living in you. We mean a spirit that just doesn’t live anywhere, but the one which usually looks for a body to dwell in. Mostly, human bodies.
Jesus in His ministry on earth was seen casting out spirits and He said that the spirit of the devil who was cast out can return back. When the person is relaxed, the spirit comes back with seven more bringing different kinds of character and demons to dwell in that same body. As a result, the same person becomes worse than he was in the beginning. This explains why some people who had some bad attitude, suddenly became worse because of this kind dwelling in them.
To fully allow the flow of the Holy Spirit together with the benefits and advantages in having Him, allow Him to take total control of your body. Give Him a place in your life. Hallelujah!
Rejecting the Holy Spirit to stay in them, surely will give way to another spirit. There’s no way you can say, “No, I don’t want the Holy Spirit and I don’t want Satan’s spirit either.” No! You only have a choice.
You choose one or the other. Say “I don’t want the Holy Spirit”, and Satan will say “Yes, in as much as you don’t need the Spirit of God, I am here to enter you.”
This is a reality because Satan is also a spirit. All the demons are spirits. Either you embrace the Holy Spirit or you follow the devilish spirit.
It’s the evil spirit that enters the person wallowing in sin, moving from one transgression to another continually falling into it. it’s a certain spirit. Just a spirit.
I met a woman as I checked in a hotel in one of my mission travels. The woman there said, “Man of God, as you were entering, there’s a certain spirit of God speaking something like “open my eyes, am in the wrong place.” I answeref her and I said, “Who are you? Why are you here?” Then the lady explained and said that she is married and her husband is at home with their children. She was an owner of a hair salon. Stangely, something was telling her that one day, she will get out of her home, of your business and will start living in a hotel, welcoming different people to visit. And I told her out of concern, “Oh, that’s a devilish spirit you need to be free from.” And she was crying, saying “Yes Sir, yes Sir, I need to be free.” And I prayed for her You know, immediately, after the prayer on that day, I was surprised. The woman packed her things in that hotel and returned to her husband and cried for restoration. When the devil spirit enters somebody, the rebellious attitude will begin to manifest and the only way for you that ward off that is to embrace the Holy Spirit to indwell you. Don’t give Satan a chance for Satan take it away from you.
The Holy Spirit can dwell and can go. The demon as well. I have mentioned it in my past preaching. Demons are of two types: possessive demon and the oppressive demon. Oppressive demons are the kind who come and go. They come and leave. One person will just say, “Oh, why did I do this?” And it’s gone. It is done already. Fleeting! But the possessive demons are the ones that stay. Their stay becomes a lifetime, a lifetime attitude. May you never experience that. So, you need to possess the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
Address Him as a Partner. Consider the Holy Spirit as a comrade, a buddy, a partner. Hallelujah! When you see John 17:13-15, the Spirit there is a person. As a person, He can move, walk, perceive and He can call your attention. He can guide you. He sees what you don’t see quickly. He perceives what’s going on.
He can tell you something. It’s the Holy Spirit. He can do it. Hallelujah! While you can enjoy a good relationship with Him, address Him as a partner. You know, if you are close to me, you would hear from me always. I do give the Holy Spirit names when I call Him and talk to Him on a daily basis. Many times, you’d hear me call Him “my Boss, Holy Spirit”. Many times, I call him wonderful Holy Spirit. If I am ministering, there’s no way I minister without mentioning the Holy Spirit. Sometimes, I used to stand before a lot of people, they’re expecting miracles and wonders of God and I look up and address Him saying, “My Boss, Holy Spirit!” and see Him moving mightily- my Master Holy Ghost. You know, the reason this happens is when you value and treasure Him, the higher the degree you will enjoy the benefits of having Him. Some people see the Holy Spirit superficially admitting,“Yeah, I have Holy Spirit, I am a Christian, I have Holy Spirit.” You can have a wife and you may not enjoy your wife, that is if you don’t know how to show affection to her, letting sweet words contribute to having a happy life with you. For you to have a fulfilling relationship, you must know the right words to make her feel she married the best person. Personally, I have a lot of names for my wife. My terms of endearment for her range from Honey, Sweetheart, Love and My dear. I call her any name for as long as I know that I can make her happy with me.
The same can happen with us and the Holy Spirit. Remember, He is our Husband, we are the wife of Jesus, Amen! And if you really want to enjoy His company better, value Him by addressing Him with terms of affection. When on the road driving, several times I say “Thank You, Holy Spirit. Welcome, Holy Spirit. I can’t do it alone, Holy Spirit. I need You, Holy Spirit. Good Morning, Holy Spirit.”
You know in my ministry, there’s not a day that we don’t sing about the Holy Spirit. We enthrone Him on a daily basis, when the Holy Spirit is on the throne, no devil can be on the throne. The only way you can dethrone the devil and enthrone the presence of God, embrace the Spirit in your everyday life.
Treat the Holy Spirit as a person. He loves you. He will move close to you. The best time I enjoy ministration is every chance that I say, “Holy Spirit, do it as you want it.”
I’ve experienced that many times in my ministration, when people from different places come for healing (some of you who know me very well understand what I’m saying when I’m in the prayer), I usually pray, “Holy Spirit, I don’t know how to do it, only You can do it, do it the way You want it, feel free, take charge of everything.” You know, when I pray that way, when I went out ministering, even I myself am surprised. It gives me a wonderful feeling hearing testimonies there, witnessing miracles there, someone got healed, something great happened. I can say it is beyond my knowledge. It’s all by the ability of the Holy Spirit.
Give Him a chance, address Him in the way that He will be free to do His doings in your life. Don’t proceed with your business without Him, don’t just manage your home without Him. Welcome Him and declare, “Holy Spirit, my children belong to You, take charge, possess them, use them for Your glory.”
If you don’t surrender them to the Holy Spirit, Satan will come and take his chance. So, welcome the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. (May the Lord bless you in the mighty name of Jesus, amen!)
Live and Walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25. There are many things we want done but we assume managing on our own. We wish to accomplish a thing or two, and leave Him off and do things our way, more often than not, we experience failure.
Many times, things don’t work well, because we don’t walk in the Spirit. It is only those who walk in Him who will not stumble. Walk in the Spirit, all the flesh will not defeat you. Walk in the Spirit, live in the Spirit, allow Him to guide your way day by day, then you will relish the flow of the benefits of being with Him. May you never miss it!
Have a life of Praise and Worship Daily.
Let daily praise and worship become your attitude. This way, you will provide an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can prove Himself to you His goodness and to manifest to you His glory. The atmosphere the Holy Spirit loves is an atmosphere of praise and worship. Praise and worship! If you really want to see the flow of the spirit, praise! I’ve seen it manifest many times in my ministry and ministration. When people came with a difficult challenge or sickness, people who were rejected by the hospital, seemed sentenced. What do I do? After calling my worship team to sing, along the way of giving praise and worship to Him, suddenly the Holy Spirit began to talk to me, saying “Paul, don’t worry. This is what you are going to do, that’s what you’re going to do”, and I followed what I was told to do, the miracle manifested.
That’s the secret.
It is not just by living your life complaining day by day, bickering and murmuring. That’s why you cannot have the Holy Spirit manifest. He inhabits praise, not whining. If you want to enjoy him, start to praise and worship God, singing worship songs in your home, singing praises. You can do praise in your office or wherever you are. You can praise even using your phone. Whenever you have the opportunity to play music of praise in your phone, play!
Let praising and worshiping flow. The presence of the Holy Spirit will dwell in you. According to the book of 2Kings 3:15, it says, “But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.”
Elisha (I’m sure many of us have read this), was looking for a solution to the problem of the Kings. He requested for someone who can make music. Immediately, as they started playing the harp in worship to God, the Spirit of God came and Elijah said “Thus says, the Lord.”
So, whatever gift of the Holy Spirit in your life is, you need the atmosphere of worship to grow. Whatever move the Holy Spirit may want in your life or in your ministry, you have to have the praise and worship atmosphere.
It’s just like you put a live fish in the river, it can move at any length. If you put it on dry ground, it can die quickly. The same thing with the Holy Spirit, if you want tp enjoy the life with the Holy Spirit flowing, you need to put yourself in sea of praise and worship. You will see the flow, flow, and more flow of the Holy Spirit.
May the unction of the Holy Spirit never dry in your life, may the relationship of the Holy Spirit never be terminated, by the authority in the name of Jesus. I declare every reader of this message, from this day onward, the Holy Spirit will be your companion in the name of Jesus. Believe Him, He’s the Spirit of wonders and blessings. The Comforter you need for your journey now and in the future. Embrace Him, never forget this message, value Him and He will value you. May the Lord bless you.
I believe God has blessed you again. Father in heaven, we give You all the glory for Your faithfulness for teaching us again, glory be to Your Holy Name. Lord, I commit into Your hands everyone reading Your word, even those who may have been harassed by the enemy through sin and Satan.
