Title : The Help is Coming Your Way
Text : 1 Samuel 11:9 And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabesh- Gilead, Tomorrow; by that time the sun will be hot, ye shall have help.
Nahash said that He is going to destroy the Israelites and He is to fulfill his will and announced to them. The Israelites got worried and somehow they panicked.Thought, how could they overcome the great armies that came against them for they don\u2019t have the strength, the weapon and the enemy\u2019s ability is more than theirs. Jabez Gilead\u2019s armies are so many and as they have heard that they will be destroyed by them, annihilate them yet in bravery, they plead for their lives to be spared, just let them live as slaves.
Nahash symbolizes the merciless devil.
Despite the negotiations of keeping them alive and being the servants of Nahash, they were to be one eyed slaves for He wants their one eye to be removed. That\u2019s how wicked Nahash agreed with their request. How dangerous is the heart of a human being like Nahash.
The same with some aspects of your life, suffering from situations where no one who you can turn to for help. You are facing different giants who have the greater ability than yours.
When human ability fails, be aware that God is able to rescue and make a way where there seems to be no way, for us who acknowledge His power..
God\u2019s divine help is needed.
The Israelites made a wise decision just to spare their life even if it was a terrible decision because their physical eyes were at stake as long as they are alive..
In any aspect of your life, may it be your health, family, relationship, business, career or ministry, that seems your ability totally fails when Satan harasses and oppresses you with his wickedness , don\u2019t worry, it\u2019s not yet over. God is able to rescue you with His divine assistance and shall make a way where there seems to be no way.
Back to the agreement of keeping the Israelites alive , within a week of a chance for consultation, God made a way as He is good.
People plead for their strength has drained and seems to be at the end of the rope. Even Prophet Samuel was there in the kingship of Saul, it didn\u2019t dessuade the message of destruction to be received. Despite the fact of their approaching annihilation , God has already made a plan for rescue.God\u2019s plan is different from the enemy\u2019s plan.
Regardless of what your antagonists are doing, still the plan of God is far greater than the plan of the enemy for you like knocking, pulling you down and expiring your life. God is able to work behind for help and do miracles for you.
Even if your mother cannot assist you, your Pastor cannot comfort you, or a friend cannot find a solution to your dilemma and your ability cannot alleviate you, God is able to work for you.
Maybe you have any situation that seems difficult to handle, and you are afraid of what would be the next problem to encounter, with the help of God as He is already planning a turn around for you and working for a change in to your life.
No need to wait for 8 days for tomorrow, God\u2019s reinforcement is coming.
That\u2019s how they conquer the enemy.
As you are reading this message, God is sending you the help to meet your needs and do wonders for your life in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Here\u2019s how to be victorious leading to your Great Help.
1.Fear not \u2013 Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
One of the targets of the Devil is to grieve your heart by fear. Don\u2019t give in to fear by thinking that this is it, no more way out, no more solutions and that\u2019s where Satan takes advantage .
He will weary people when the fear strikes.
When you can\u2019t go for yourself alone, God can.
When you are on the platform of \u201cFear Not\u201d , Trust Him for His ability to help Success shall be your portion and every need shall be provided by God.
When your doctor is not able to rescue you, when your pocket cannot attend to your needs for your account is empty, when you hear a bad whisper in the air , Fear Not.
God is able to work on it for you.
Set your eyes to the One who is Able to do something for you.
Don\u2019t set your eyes to the enemy who is trying to mock and pull you down.
Neither to the people or things which gives you a problem.
Fear not, look up and see how big and great your God is.
2. Trust in the Holy Spirit
Trust in the Holy Spirit\u2019s intervention.
When I say help is coming your way, it\u2019s not just by humans Ability but it\u2019s going to be by the move of the Holy Spirit\u2019s intervention.
When they told Saul immediately, the Spirit of God came down upon Saul and He declared the manifestation of the help from above.
Not far from your situation, when you put your trust in the Lord by the intervention of the Holy Spirit, you can never miss the divine help.
Human skills are somehow limited but the Spirit of God can never be limited.
It can penetrate even if in the hospital, the patient can be healed.
Probably, a relative lies in the hospital and you are worried about the situation, Allow the Holy Spirit\u2019s move and receive a miracle.
The Spirit of God shall intervene.
It was not Saul who made the decision to help.
It\u2019s the secret behind every divine enforcement.
Pray for it.
I used to pray while singing , but the message goes like this, I have no helpers of my own, I have no helpers of my own,, Holy Spirit,I look up to You, help me, ( for) I have no helpers of my own..
Every time in the ministry junction of my life, when I admit that my ability is not enough, I will remember that prayer song and God intervened quickly as it happens many times.
When your own family and loved ones, have no power to rescue you not even your own father , our Greatest Father in heaven has the greatest power to rescue you.
3. Time is another thing to understand
The passage clearly says Go and tell them that Tomorrow when it is hot.
It didn\u2019t say that Now.
Recognise time. Why He said tomorrow? Maybe Prophet Samuel was contacted by Saul who told him that enforcement is not yet today but tomorrow.
Today may seem hard but you have a better tomorrow.
There are some situations, when God wants to help us with great things, He sets a time for it and everything.
Probably, you\u2019ve been praying and expecting God to help you one way or the other but no results yet.
Better need to understand that God is a God of time.
He never forgets you.
Every thing He has planned, He shall surely do it at the right time, Trust His time table.
Don\u2019t worry about the time of somebody else.The time for your friend may be different from your own time .
Maybe in the area of marriage that your friend has a good husband or wife, and girlfriend or boyfriend. . Maybe your contemporaneous has a beautiful house , your relatives have a successful business and they are doing great in life. Don\u2019t be discouraged.
Wait for your time and understand that God has time for everything.
Most of the time, when God wants to enforce His people when everything doesn\u2019t work well and seems contrary to their expectations which cause them to cry, that\u2019s the sign of the Holy Spirit\u2019s time for intervention of assistance.
Don\u2019t lose hope, don\u2019t lose your trust and continue to hold firm in His words of promises. Don\u2019t give up, wait upon the Lord for He shall renew your strength. Wings will grow and be able to fly higher .You are one of the Eagles at the appointed time as you wait upon the Lord.
understand that God will use human vessel.
Whenever God wants to help someone, He will not just jump down from heaven and say \u201d Here I am to help you.\u201d.
Probably, the angel came with a lot of wings and you might be scared and cause you and not receive the help. God will send human beings for help and never lack.
If one can disappoint you, He will replace somebody.
Understand that God has sent for us agents from heaven.
In this passage, we can observe that the Israelites panicked and found no solution. God used Saul at that moment and at the same time, the whole land of Israel ( three hundred thousand people) arose to help them and prove that God is at work.
They didn\u2019t have that decision before until God decided to do the enforcement by touching the heart of the people to do so, thus it came to pass
Just the same with you, when God wants to help you, never forget that God will provide you an angel in the form of human beings.
It will be a test for your character which is very important.
Some people believe that God has given them a hand but because they are experiencing a hard time, their attitude swings and the people around them become their opponents.
The angel God used for a rescue may be someone who is near to you like your own family or in the household of faith .
Don\u2019t ever say that you don\u2019t want to be disturbed due to your hard times, you may not discern the angel for changing God has sent for you.The people who failed and disappointed you before can be a great help tomorrow as they have changed for good depending on how God programmed it.
Make sure to embrace good behavior and rightly position your attitude.
Remember the story of Job.He underwent trials, challenges, disappointments from his friends, mockery of the wife, and talked badly about him.
When God decided to change his life , God still used the same friends who mocked him and gave him silver and goods to him because Job maintained his good character in order to fulfill God\u2019s promises to him. They asked Job\u2019s forgiveness and his life has changed totally.
Believing God for divine help, character is very important.
Never try to retaliate nor fight back for it closes the door of enforcement of God. It will teach you to humble yourself and to be silent at times, no to easily react when you are struggled . God will visit you by his agent of help.
Don\u2019t chase away the people that might be a great rescue of your tomorrow. Understand God\u2019s ways of help.
May you never miss the plan of God and His glory.
